Purpose of the association (according to §2 of the association statutes):

Austropapier - Association of the Austrian Paper Industry is a non-profit association, does not pursue any political objectives and has the task of promoting and representing the economic interests of its members. Members are the companies of the paper, pulp, wood pulp and cardboard industry in Austria. The object of the Association is to take all legally permissible measures which are suitable for this purpose, in particular the provision of information, advice and support to members, the compilation of statistics, the exchange of experience, the performance of research and training tasks, as well as public relations work and the maintenance of contacts with foreign paper industries and national and international organisations.

Board of Directors of Austropapier - Association of the Austrian Paper Industry:

The members of the Presidium and Executive Board are listed on the Austropapier homepage. As Austropapier is an association according to the Austrian Association Act, there are no other persons directly or indirectly involved in the media owner or any special ownership, participation, shareholding or voting rights within the meaning of § 25 (2) of the Austrian Media Act.

Representation of the paper industry within the chamber of commerce

The members of the FV Committee are also listed on the Austropapier website.

As the Fachverband is a public corporation under the Austrian Economic Chamber Act, there are no other persons directly or indirectly involved in the media owner or any special ownership, participation, shareholding or voting rights within the meaning of Section 25 (2) of the Media Act.

Promotion of the objectives of the field of activity

This homepage aims to promote the interests of the members of Austropapier in the above sense, sees itself as an economic-political, subject-oriented publication, and feels a regulatory obligation to the system of the social market economy, social partnership and the information mandate for companies in the relevant sectors. The focus is on informing the interested public, professional reporting and articulating the interests of the paper industry.
