Wages and salaries:
As of 1 May 2022, actual wages and salaries will be increased by 4.75 per cent, but at least by Euro 120 (cardboard industry: 4.6 per cent, no minimum amount), and CBA wages and minimum salaries by 4.9 per cent.
Apprenticeship income and shift allowances will be increased more:
Apprentice wages: Will be raised in the paper industry from 34.5 to 40 per cent of wage group 1 in the first apprenticeship year, from 43.1 to 50 in the second apprenticeship year, from 53.9 to 55 per cent of wage group 1 in the third apprenticeship year, and the 75.5 per cent of wage group 1 will remain unchanged in the fourth apprenticeship year. This means that apprentices' incomes will increase by about 22 per cent in the first two apprenticeship years, by 7 per cent in the third apprenticeship year and by 5 per cent in the fourth apprenticeship year.
Shift allowances: The allowance for the 2nd shift will be increased to € 10.50 (+ 6.2%) from 1 May 2022, to € 11.30 from 1 May 2023 and to € 12.00 from 1 May 2024. The night work bonus will be increased to € 25.30 (+ 6.4%) from 1 May 2022, to € 27.25 from 1 May 2023 and to € 29.00 from 1 May 2024.
Intra-company allowances shall be increased by 4.75 per cent if they are mentioned by name in the collective agreement.
Travel allowances: Increase of 4.75 per cent.
The collective agreement shall apply from 1 May 2022 (term until 30 April 2023).
